Quality Steel Fabrication

Brook Welding is one of the United Kingdom’s leading industrial steel fabricators and welders with over 67 years’ experience building high quality steel fabrications.

Our 25000 sq. ft. Birmingham site has the facilities to take your design and produce a Welded, machined and painted fabrication to the highest of standards. The company’s philosophy has always been to control the quality by keeping the as much of the manufacturing processes in house as possible, from plate to paint. By having this control we can closely monitor the materials, delivery and most importantly quality. We can presently offer steel profiling, fabrication, welding, thermal stress reliving, machining, shot blasting and painting as a complete package or as an individual services and everything in-between. In the areas of manufacture we haven’t incorporated we have spent decades forming strong partnerships with a number of companies that specialise in industries outside our own expertise allowing us, for example, to offer fabrications that are galvanised or have abnormally heavy or large fabrication to be machined to a high precision.

We pride ourselves on our technical know-how and highly experienced workforce, whose skill has been developed and passed down over the last six decades. In that time we have mastered fabricating and welding with a whole range of steels and steel alloys, from basic mild steel to nickel iron alloys. Both our fabricators and our welders are coded to B.S EN 287-1 & B.S. EN ISO 9606-1 and our expert welders are also coded to ASME IX. The company holds a number of Welding Procedures in accordance with B.S. EN 288, B.S. EN ISO 15614-1 and ASME IX to cover all manner of welds and material grades. While we regularly work with 3.1 and 3.2 certificated materials we can offer a full package of testing and traceability designed to suit your specification as well as being ISO 9001 and B.S. EN 1090 EXC 3 accredited. Brook can also offer independent Charpy Impact Testing and certification all materials used, and a full NDT package of DPT, MPI and Ultrasonic testing as well as certified load testing and CMM reports all tailored to suit your requirements. Every job not matter how small can be supplied with a comprehensive documentation pack.
